How does the scanner detect pre-consent tracking?

We use Puppeteer to load your site in headless Chrome without clicking any cookie banner. All network requests, cookies, and localStorage writes are intercepted and analyzed against a database of known tracking domains.

What counts as a GDPR violation?

Any analytics, advertising, or fingerprinting script that fires before a user gives explicit consent. This includes Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and similar tools loading before the banner is accepted.

Can I scan competitor websites?

Yes. Our scanner only makes standard HTTP requests that any browser would make. You can scan any publicly accessible website to benchmark compliance.
